The Pens totally deserved this win! The Wings gave a hell of a fight though!

However... as much as I don''t like the Wings booing, the Pens absolutely did it last year when we won game 6 in Pittsburgh.

In poor taste on both ends, IMO, but no city is innocent.

DH just got home from the game, and he said the wings fans were booing Bettman -- not Malkin. DH said the fans would of booed Bettman even if the wings won, and our guy was the MVP...Detroit has always booed Bettman.

btw, when were Pitt, the fans had no problem taunting us with profanity in front of our 6 year old.....we had to remind people to keep it clean.

I''m sure there are bad seeds on both sides....

You are quite right! I actually didn''t watch the cup-winning celebration last year b/c I was annoyed

so didn''t know the Pens fans did that as well. Not appropriate!

Great series, ladies. The Wings are an incredible team. But it''s nice of Detroit to let someone else win at least occasionally

Congratulations Pens players and fans! It was a great game.

I have no idea who played for the Wings last night, sure didn''t look like ''our team'' out there. I think Babcock made a mistake by not changing the lineup, after losing the last game in PA....but there is always next year!!!

Anyway...it was a good series, kept us all on our toes!

And I agree about the ''booing'' for the winning team, very rude and unsportsmanlike...I do think there were more Pens fans in Detroit last night, than there were Wings fans in PA last year...we were booed mercilessly last year, which is why it is so nice to win at home, for the players and the fans.
