Yes, given the Pens lost last game, the officiating was clearly horrendous! I think it was a fix

I sooooo wish I could watch CBC. Alas, we live now in crappy Delaware and it''s NBC or nothing.

Hehee, I thought that might have been the case with the officiating.

It is so obvious they want the Wings to win.

Southern Ontario, but I am no Leafs fan....sacrilege, I know. My son is a Buffalo Sabres fan, my hubby is a Montreal Canadiens fan and I used to be a Wings fan because we lived in Windsor for a while, just south (yes south

) of those Wings. Now, I am a huge Sid fan because I am originally from Nova Scotia.

Interesting... hockey families are the best. I grew up in a household (probably not too far from you!) where we regularly battled over hockey teams hehe. Actually, one brother is a Leafs fan, one is a Red Wings fan, and little sis is a Wings fan too. We''re all usually Sabres fans, but I cannot tolerate what is going on there these days. And we''re all Sid fans too

Eventually we''ll all be Wings fans though, because little bro''s best friend (since preschool!) will be the Wings goalie in a few years

So excited for Friday... I hope they can get their heads together to take at the Joe!

My brother is going...... but I think he is rooting for the Red Wings

Just got home from our drive from Pittsburgh -- ugh, what a long drive. Thank goodness for those awesome plazas through Ohio.

Pens fans were "ok" to us as we were dressed in our "red gear"... with our 6 year old, I was hoping no one would be too crude. But, overall the fans were ok, a couple bad comments that were not "G-Rated" but it''s too be expected. We loved taking the "T" or the subway there... so clean, and FREEEEEEE.....

We sat in the C 29 section which was pretty good.... a few of the Wings family members were around us which made us more comfortable in the sea of white at Mellon Arena. Why don''t the folks at Joe Louis hand out free Red t-shirts during the games?

DH will be at Game 7 -- I really feel the team with the "team effort" will win this... it''s not going to be the Crosby''s or Zetterberg''s -- it''s who will come together will win.

Home ice is great, but anything can happen!

That is so funny about the rivalry in hockey families. My Mom mixed up our hockey mugs one Christmas, and it was a riot the looks on our faces in those old pictures...hehee.

That is so exciting about your little bro's best friend icekid!!! He will learn so much playing with the Wings. They really are an amazing and impressive team. I suspect, as we all do, they will win Friday night at the Joe, but I know the Pens will put up a fight and they might surprise everyone!! It would be so amazing for them to win the Cup. We will channel all our hockey vibes their way and see what happens!!

Me too! I heard that in Cole Harbour, Nova Scotia, there are tons of hockey sticks underneath the sign that says "Welcome to Cole Harbour, Home Of Sidney Crosby.......very cool. I just hope the poor guy will be able to skate with the cup if they win!!
