SO excited for this weekend! I love SC Finals!! I think almost gave myself a heart attack watching last year''s finals.

Someone at my work was selling tickets for game 2. 315/ticket!

I come from a MAJOR hockey family...I was raised on "Hockey Night In Canada" - lol...my dad and older brother new the Illitch family, before they were successful and owned everything in Detroit, LOL (my brother even dated the oldest Illitch daughter way back when)...my oldest sister is a ''Red Wings booster'' and hands out the white pom poms and greets the fans before every home game. Her daughter was actually an assistant photographer for the Wings in 96-98 (she has some great stories and personal pics of the players!)...and if I had been a boy, I would have been named ''Gordy'' as in Gordy Howe, ahem...I''m the youngest of 7 kids, they were running low on names, LOL!!! Thankfully I was not a boy!

So I''ve been raised on Red Wing Hockey and thrilled they are on the way to another Stanley Cup Playoff!!! GO WINGS!!!

That''s the normal price for a regular season game for the Maple Leafs. What a shitty team, but nothing every changes because Toronto is filled with DUMB people who buy overpriced tickets regardless of whether they ever make it to the playoffs or not!

Sound like someone else I know....Mr. KAMA!! We actually bought a 46" LCD complete with an HD box and Bose surround sound one year because the Canadiens were doing so well and my beau was going OFF-THE-WALLS. Sorry, scratch that. That was ME. Lol.

Yeah, the Penguins aren''t going to go down easy...it''s going to be quite a match up for sure!

I hope the Wings WIN it at HOME this year too!

A win is ALWAYS great, but there is nothing like winning at HOME!! Especially at the Joe...

We still get Hockey Night In Canada (we get VS. too, but it''s just not the same!!!)...

And, the ''joke'' in my family when DH and I got married, was that I was going to have the DJ play the "Hockey Night In Canada" theme song for the father/daughter dance!!

But they didn''t have that music...bummer...it would have been fitting because watching hockey with my dad is one of the things I remember most!! Since I was the youngest and the last kid left at home, he and I watched it together...now we talk about it over the phone.


Even my dog gets in on the act, I get VERY excited and loud when the Wings score/win and my Chihuahua cheers right along with me...he ''sings'' really loud, LOL...too funny.

Can''t wait for game one!!!

That game was amazing!!! Quite a few times I thought the Penguins would score because of the flurry of action in front of the goal... But Ozzy saved every one!!!
