So are you loving your stone?? Have you taken it on field trips?

Hi MamaBear!

All of us here at GOG thank you kindly for your patience and patronage during the process and more than anything we are happy that YOU are happy. If you need any help/assistance mounting it into your Tacori we''ll be happy to help unless of course you want to get it done locally (which I would understand). Either way, we''re here for you and thank you for the kind words. ENJOY!!!

Warm regards,

I have been taking it out. I "wear" next to my awful CZ..
sadly, it has the same amount of sparkle as my cz. I know
it''s apples and oranges but.. i just can''t seem to bond with my stone.
i dunno what it is... i went to a B&M nearby the house and he showed me a 1.52 G SI2,
slightly smaller and only $400 dollars less. it was a nice stone. he said that his stone
had less inclusions than mine...
i dunno what to do.

It''s absolutely beautiful!! I also have to say that your pool looks so refreshing -- I could dive right in!

Is there anything in particular about it that bothers you? Or is it just that the CZ sparkles just like it?

I have a round CZ, and yes, it''s very sparkly, under some lighting almost like my real round. But in other lighting, it goes flat, and my real stone does not. Maybe you should stop wearing/comparing it to your CZ.

As for the other stone, while it may have less inclusions, I seriously doubt it''s cut as well. And the inclusions, or lack of, won''t affect the sparkle. I don''t think GOG would sell a diamond if it was so heavily included it affected the sparkle. So I don''t think the other stone will make you any happier.

Is it possible your expectations were a bit higher than maybe is realistic? Sometimes, after reading posts on here, we tend to think it should be the 4th of July from the minute we open the ring box, but that''s not really realistic. There have been more than a few on here who felt a wee bit dissapointed at first, until they realized maybe they were expecting a bit much.

Wow, she''s beautiful!!! What a keeper!!!

It looks like the stone is just going crazy in the sunlight, I love the pic by the pool. The stone looks almost blue.

Just to keep me updated, what is the carat size again? It looks quite big on your hand!
it is a 1.614
my ring size is 3.5
GO FIGURE
i make grains of sand look like rocks
haha

Wow, I''m quite envious...how about I trade you a grain of sand for your rock?

Seriously, the stone is gorgeous!

Hi Ellen,
Thanks for your thoughts.
It''s funny, we must be on the same wavelengths..
just before i read your post, i put my cz away and said, no more looking at cz!
and.. i thought about it about, and i think you''re right, my expectations were not so realistic.
and staring at all the closeup shots etc, of diamonds doesn''t really help.
i''ve come back to earth and i''m pretty sure i''ll keep the diamond.
thanks everyone for their cheers

It is easy to expect so much. But I know, once you've had that stone in LOTS of different lighting situations, you're gonna love it.

I'm so glad you're keeping it. Now get it in that gorgeous setting and post pics pronto!
