I just wanted some color to set of the diamond so i extended the arm a bit
thanks for worrying about her
i think i'm going to give her a name. sigh

It looks like the stone is just going crazy in the sunlight, I love the pic by the pool. The stone looks almost blue.

Just to keep me updated, what is the carat size again? It looks quite big on your hand!

the only dissapointment is that she doesn''t seem to have color inside. she sparkles but she''s kinda...
you know the last picture, she looks like that most of the time inside. except sparkly of course. just not colorful sparkly.
I guess i still have the OEC on my mind...

You need to take her out on the town. And in the shade, the grocery store, the car, elevators, bathrooms....

You shoulda seen that 2.08 OEC on me. You know that chart that tells you about finger coverage in relation to a stones size,
they say that there''s no 100% coverage... so wrong
that 2.08 just about covered my whole width of my finger! ok, so it''s 95% coverage..

Yes it is!
right now the setting has a sad CZ in there

I''m so embarrassed!
this diamond is the exact same size as the CZ
so i won''t have shrinkage complex

I did buy my setting at a B&M in carlsbad, ca. cute little town and very nice jewelry store.
I was going to buy the stone from them as well but, she kept showing me D, VS2''s ... ''this setting
should only take a D''
That bothered me a bit because clarity is not a priority to me and i don''t like people telling
me what my ring NEEDS as far as color.

When she took out the box to package everything up, i was like, good gawd that box is huge!

as far as the price,
i think it''s fair.
I got a lot more from GOG.
The stone has a lifetime tradeup which is important to me and FI.
also, they sent me a nice teak wood ring box, a loupe and a H&A viewer which was unexpected
but a nice surprise
