Thank you, here''s our story about the e-ring...

My dear FI asked what colors I liked randomly one-day and I told him blue and green without realizing what he was talking about

. When our first anniversary came around, he proposed without a ring... Actually, he said, ''I didn''t get a chance to get your anniversary present'' (he travels a lot for work), ''that''s ok, I''m sure you''ll make it up to me'', ''I thought maybe we could shop for it together'', ''ok, what are we getting?'', ''well, I was thinking, maybe a gemstone, on a metal band''...

Then came the research... So hard to find good information on buying gemstones, then I found PS! After some intense reading, decided on a sapphire because they are hardier than many of the other pretty gems.

We picked out all aspects of the ring together, I am more than extremely pleased

I have almost the exact same ER as you (with a pink sapphire) and I, too, am having a heck of a time finding a band that fits. My setting is custom made and bumps out a bit on the side. Do you have a side picture of your ER with the band? I''d love to see how they fit together from the side.

I've attached a side view of the rings, my ER band starts at about 4mm where the prongs meet the side stone and tapers to just shy of 2mm on the underside. There is a slight gap, probably less than half a mm, but it's probably due to movement from my fingers.
