Which bit specifically are you referencing? The octagonal section within your round brilliant is the table, yes. Is that what you meant? :) That looks like a photo with flash - that can really artificially highlight details huh.
 
I am seeing a pronounced “circle” within the diamond that I haven’t noticed as being so distinct before. I assumed the table but just wanted to double check!

If you look closely at your actual diamond you should see that circle is an octagonal shape, and it's about half the size of your diamond. If that's what you're talking about then it's definitely your table. If you're talking more about that darker central circle right in the centre that only takes up a tiny width, I believe that's a reflection of the table in the stone with the shadow of you in it. ;)2

Something like that anyway.
