Is this round a great diamond? 2.51 GIA G SI1

In my opinion yes...

Interesting! Crazy how the Fluor stones get such a bad rap and are priced lower!
I'd love to see photos of your stone!

You're talking about the blue falshes that come off the stone? That'll happen either way. My stone has faint flourescence and it's an F, and only has the slightest blue tint in the sun and gives blue flashes, but it's not like the stone turns blue...
I guess the main question I'm trying to ask is...will a 2.5 G Med Blue look the same as a 2.5 G No Fluor in any type of lighting or will I see more blue with the Med Blue?

You will see the same thing in almost all artificial lighting, but lighting with a higher UV content, e.g. outside in shaded daylight, the G will look more like an E or more colorless.

Ask the vendor if it really looks like a VS2 or an SI1.
If it looks like a VS inclusion suite then the clouds are an issue and have it sent to an appraiser for an opinion.
Garry H- I was looking back at all the comments and this one popped out at me. You think the clouds might be an issue?
thanks for your help!

If it looks like a VS2 then, yes, I would be worried about clouds or feathers or other bad stuff. But from the picture its a real SI1, And eye clean, but not an SI2, so its a decent stone and there is no risk of clouds.
The Flouro could be a milky issue, and good vendors will easily check and tell you if that is a problem because otherwise they can be just expecting a return. But others have already advised to ask the vendor.
Here is a 2 minute video with my take on Flouro:

LOL, if I had something to brag about I would love to share them :) It amazes me too, but some people don't like their stones to be *tainted*....my stone isn't cut really well but when I get an upgrade it will be cut perfectly.

Thanks for clarifying and interesting video thank you!!
The real question is.... if the diamond checks out (eye clean, not milky, etc) with the appraiser, am I getting a good deal?
Asking $27,500. This is a private seller if I did not mention before.

Not a great deal, its pretty close to full internet retail. Do a ps search above.
As an opening for negotiation its not a bad start.

Three more photos of the diamond I just received.
Thoughts?
