Hi,

I don’t know much about diamonds and I have been enjoying reading about this subject here at pricescope. So much to learn... I’ve posted the above photo of my e-ring and is wondering if it’s normal to see blue colors? The photo was taken inside the bus. I was wearing a white top if that makes a difference.

I apologize in advance if my question seems dumb.

Thank you.

Does the stone have any florescence? Sometimes it can also be from surroundings, like a blue sky...

That blue can't be from the water bottle.
Why?
Because the bottle is 100% behind the diamond.
The bottle is green, not a blue anywhere close to the blue seen reflecting from the stone.

I'm guessing it's from blue sky that the diamond is facing.

Also, a minor influencing factor (making the whole pic shift a bit towards the blue hue) is the camera's white balance is not properly matched to the light source.
Notice the flesh tone is slightly on the bluish side, assuming the human is not dead.

Hello, BEAUTIFUL! I have no comment about the stone’s fluorescence but the setting is awesome! It’s so refreshing to see a clean bezel setting around a fabulous Rock!
