Is this Mikimoto?

Hi, came across this recently and was wondering if it is a Mikimoto.
Has a tag with M on one side and 1890 on the other. There is also an M on the lobster as well as S925.

Yes, Majorica imitation pearls. They generally use silver findings/chain-- that's the metal mark 925.

Majorica are the best imitations out there. They actually tend to sell pretty well on eBay. Not enough to retire on LOL, but you could probably sell them.

Here's one like yours that sold in February. That one is vermeil (gold plated over silver) and is a bit tarnished.
Yours isn't tarnished.

many many famous woman have worn imitation pearls, Coco Chanel, Mrs Barbara Bush, Princess Diana, my favorite Queen Alexandra (the Queen Married to Queen Victoria's son) wore a ton of pearls, real and man made oh and Jackie Kennedy, all these ladies stepped out with their heads held high adorned in their imitation pearls
