I can’t read any marks and the picture looks awful but I feel like this could be Kataoka…. Thoughts?

Here are pics of the kataoka ring. I've never seen kataoka with 2-tone, so that makes me suspicious of tje one you posted.

Also, the kataoka has a very specific milgrain pattern that I don't necessarily see on the one you posted

The finish and diamond quality are also suspect.

That ring is the only one I've seen a dup for. Its pretty common on sites like Etsy, etc. I think because the idea of "thin band + diamonds" seems easy, but is almost impossible to replicate Kataoka standards.

So true they are so unique and well made - I’m always on the lookout!

That’s a terrible knockoff!

For this ring, Katoka uses two rose cuts stacked back to back so you can’t see through the diamonds, and he would never choose such poor quality.
