the diamond profile all fits what I am looking for (excellent cut/G or higher color/VS2 or higher clarity/and 1.3 carat). However it has unideal(?) crown angle. I wonder if this diamond will perform well on an engagement ring and well priced at $10K.

this is a second option but costs 1K more with inferior color. So I would like to get the first one if CA is not a problem

It has a complimentary pavilion angle at 40.6. The Aset shows some ever so slight leakage around 5:30 - 6:30.

Here is a 1.3 F/VS1 at JA. You would have to ask for the GIA report if you want to check the angles. Note that it also is not an H&A.

I would conclude it is a good price especially considering that WF has all the images and they look pretty good (maybe not perfect). Also, consider the
difference between the trade-in policies.

I hope it's you that has it on hold because after looking at some of the other stones the price seems quite good.

Edit...You might ask WF what difference you might see between the 1.3F/VS1 and an ACA.

With that ca it depends on the rest of the conbo if you compare aset images it is better cut than the second one.

Yes it is me with the hold. thanks for your reply.

The F is very nice.

I see. Is first one a good option at that price range

I can not answer that per the rules of the board because im trade.
Sorry.

A perfectly cut ACA with similar specs would be between 13-14K so you’re saving a few thousand dollars by buying a stone of lesser cut quality. I would rather buy a lower color and/ or clarity, like G or H VS2 and get the best cut. But everyone’s priorities are different.

Its still gia excellent tho. Im not sure how much difference you can tell between gia excellent vs wf aca

It scores a 2.4 on the HCA. Which puts it in the "very good" range. It's not " Ideal", but if the price is right, could be a good buy for the money

In reality, GIA Excellent is a very board range but this stone has all the images you need to see whats going on. You dont
need HCA when you have all the images. HCA uses 4 numbers while ASET, Idealscope, and H&A are true reflections of the stone.

You can ask WF for a video of that F with say the H that @mwilliamanderson posted together. Asked them what differences you might
see.

Ok i will try asking. My SO is sensitive to color unlike me so i was trying to get g or higher

I think the F is a beautiful stone. All the images look great for light return. It's a stone I'd personally buy. I wouldn't buy a stone with those numbers without the images, but since WF does provide them, I can see that it is a winner!

If she is color sensitive, I'd stick with the F and definitely not go to H.

Oh geesh.. if she is color sensitive no way would I even consider an H.

Ditto. Beautiful stone. F for colour-sensitive. Have WF do a comparison if you’d like extra reassurance - you can trust their assessment.
