Could someone give me their opinion on this stone please. Will this have a more fiery appearance? Thank you! Screenshot 2022-12-07 at 13.14.35.png

I wouldn't recommend this stone due to the low pavilion angle. It will have more obstruction than other stones with more balanced proportions. Additionally, at D color, it should be easy to find an HPHT stone rather than CVD.

I also wouldnt recommend that one

I think you can do better for that price!

Thanks for your reply. Whats HPHT and CVD? I'm very new when it comes to looking at lab diamonds so not familiar with any terminology. :))

It is the growth method--High Pressure High Temperature versus Chemical Vapor Deposition. High Pressure High Temperature is how the earth formed diamonds.

Ah ok! Is one better than the other?

They each have issues to watch out for. CVD may have striations, brown or grey tint, haziness, birefringence. HPHT may have blue nuance. An HPHT without blue nuance is the closest thing to natural.
