I wouldn't recommend this stone due to the low pavilion angle. It will have more obstruction than other stones with more balanced proportions. Additionally, at D color, it should be easy to find an HPHT stone rather than CVD.

It is the growth method--High Pressure High Temperature versus Chemical Vapor Deposition. High Pressure High Temperature is how the earth formed diamonds.
