With fancy shapes, it is hard to tell. Gem Appraisers.com has fancy shape cut charts that may help.

I see that White Flash is listing its cut quality as "ideal." I would ask if they have the stone in house or could call it in to take a closer look for you. Fancy shapes are harder to judge than rounds.

Good Old Gold is the only site that I know of that does a brilliance scope analysis on its ovals, so you get a better sense of their light return. You'll notice that most ovals take a hit in the white light return category. Maybe White Flash can get you an idealscope image or brilliance scope analysis on the stone you're looking.

From the info given thus far there are some green flags here.

62.4% total depth is one.

A 1.53:1 ratio is another.

Steps in the right direction.

62% table is no biggie although we prefer a smaller table to total depth but what is most important to know is the crown height/angles and pavilion depth/angles.

Sometimes knowing all the numbers doesn't tell the whole story either as the size/width of the pavilion mains can determine how noticeable or unnoticeable the bowtie will be too. Fancies must be seen and inspected by a pro. Brian & Leslie are good people and if you ask them they will not steer you wrong.

Peace,

The stone is nice!
but I would probably go for a bigger stone, drop in color and clarity.(Ie.1.50+fsi1/gvs2),when it comes to the near colorless diamonds, once it is mounted it is very hard to determine what color it is if it's withing one shade up/down,and also if they are not next to each other.

just my 2 cents
