Is this a good buy? Does table% matter a lot?

Hi all,
I was looking at bluenile and saw this:

0.86carat/ Color E/ VS2/ Excellent cut/Excellent polish/ Excellent Symmetry/
Table 55%
Crown 34%
Pavillion 40.8%
Depth 60.5%
Girdle: Thin to medium, faceted
No cullet

http://www.bluenile.com/round-diamond-1-carat-or-less-signature-ideal-cut-e-color-vs2-clarity_LD01539905

My question is, I saw smaller diamonds with worse color or cut to be more expensive than this one. Am I missing something, the only thing I could find is that table% could be better.

What do you think is this a good buy?
Many thanks in advance

55% is my ideal size for a table! The stone "sounds" beautiful!

sounds very promising - table by itself is no matter, many combinations could produce a beautiful stone depending on how the rest of the proportions work together

It's fine.

I entered the proportions to Halloway Cut advisor, it produced a 0.9 score. But I still don't get it, it is $5200, there must be some reason it is much cheaper than other ideal cut stones with similar quality. I guess I'll have to see it maybe it will be clearer then.

I actually find it just a tad bit expensive compared to other online vendors. Brick and mortar stores will have a much higher markup, if that is what you are comparing prices to.

Overpriced for what it is. Can't verify light performance or optical symmetry with Bluenile either.

Comparables:

Excellent light performance and premium optical symmetry:

Excellent light performance and near ideal optical symmetry:

Definitely, check this out: https://www.pricescope.com/diamond-search-results/?shape=BR&size__gte=0.85&size__lte=0.87&color__gte=E&color__lte=E&color_m=E-&color_p=E+&clarity__gte=16&clarity__lte=18&depth__gte=58&depth__lte=63&table__gte=53&table__lte=62&h_GIA=on&h_AGS=on&h_other=on&price__gte=100&price__lte=999999&hca_index__gte=&hca_index__lte=&lab=null&all=0&hearts_arrows=&ags_cut_grade=

The BN diamond is listed (twice, as it turns out). Granted, there are no other Excellent-Excellent's on the comparison, but a VG-VG isn't too shabby either (and it's $1700 less).

Well now you are comparing apples to oranges.

Choosing a signature ideal means a consumer pays a premium to get a GIA excellent with even a narrower and stricter proportion based criteria set by Bluenile.

The links I gave above are even more strict than BN as they take not only proportions but optical symmetry and light performance graded cut in consideration.

Wow thanks a lot for the replies. By the way, there is a GCAL report in addition GIA in BN diamond that mentions optical brilliance and symmetry and rates it as excellent. However, the other online retailers you have posted provide more images and info, so I am looking at those diamonds closer, many thanks.
