Is there a way to hide the Your Media / Your Favorites tabs

Or alternatively to put the smileys above those tabs because i access and use the smileys much more often than media so that tabs just get in the way and I have to scroll more to get to the smileys.

I tried a few different things but couldn't figure it out.

Oh gosh, I was just looking for a way to take down those pictures at the bottom of my post. I always have to scroll down to get to the emojis (which I hate).

I'm so glad you asked this question!

Yes, they get in the way of the fun emojis! :D
 
I accidentally found that by clicking on the camera icon in the top row the media disappears. It comes back when I open the next thread, but at least is it gone for the post I am working on.

I was also having a horrible time getting a file from my media to load until I just tried cutting and pasting the picture, which works fine.

Good to know. I was trying to insert a picture just yesterday and it wouldn't work for me, either. Now let me try:upload_2017-7-2_10-4-50.png

I am not sure I like the media section at the bottom. I at least need to post more pictures or something because the top row of my media (waiting for me at the bottom of each page!) are my contributions to the show me the boobs moment we all had recently.... o_O

I wish by default "My Attachments" did not come up and if we want them up we could then click on the Camera button to bring them up
(and toggle them on/off using the camera button). That would be much more user friendly IMO. Most of everyone's post are text
(and who doesnt like to add emojis)? Only occasionally do we add photos so it seems like it would be more user friendly to default them as
not being up.
 
Yes to the default being OFF instead of ON. So visually distracting and annoying! I shouldn't have to turn it off every.single.time I try to post. But after reading this thread, at least I know how to! Thanks Wink!

Count me in. Too hard to see the Post Reply button and no way to hide all the pics. I don't even recognize some of the pics at this point, lol.
