Is the gold distracting?

I don’t know if I’m obsessing here, but is the gold distracting surrounding each square. I couldn’t afford emerald cuts. Thank you!

If you were going for the illusion of larger emerald cuts, this is not it, but it's a beautiful bracelet in its own right.

Agreed, it is not distracting in the slightest, it gives off an Art Deco vibe (as Bron357 also stated, ha!) and looks structured.

I dont think they look like single emerald cuts but I think it is an attractive bracelet if that's what you are asking. I agree with
