Is Pure Pearls same as Pearl Paradise?

Despite two separate websites, I notice the items, pricing, and inventory are similar. Are they branches of the same company? And if so, equally reliable?

And pricescopers always put PP—which one are they referring to, Pure pearls or Pearl Paradise?

They are not the same company. They are competitors in a relatively small market, so it's not surprising if prices are similar. PP is the larger of the two and the abbreviation refers to Pearl Paradise, owned by Jeremy Shepherd. Pure Pearls is owned by Ashley McNamara.

Pure Pearls has some great pearl education pages, well worth the read.

I've bought from both and would happily do so again. My WSS strand came from Pure Pearls. I love it!

I have bought from Pure Pearls too, and have been very happy as well. Mine were Tahitian though.
