You are in GREAT hands & the ring is going to blow you away! DS is pleased w/ her GOG ring, & my custom set was also with GOG, so I can assure you that they'll take care of you. Do not hesitate to ask them all of these details that you're asking us (e.g, exact size of the shank melee; exact size of halo melee; can you make any chgs to size, color or cut of the melee; etc, etc).

I was in touch w/ my assigned GOG design rep via email everyday & told her that if she ever had a concern that I wasn't fully understanding something, to pause & send me a pic or explanation. I can't tell you how many misunderstandings we avoided that way. She reminded me that there were no "dumb" questions & that many times they may assume you'll understand something because they've done this a million times, but for most of us, this is our first time so things aren't so easy & clear.

So don't be shy about asking questions & asking for pictures of something they're describing just to make sure you're always on the same page. You've seen how details can be misconstrued when words are involved vs pics (when looking for the shape of your center stone, I read "cushion" halo vs "RB" & I'm so sorry about that). But I can honestly say that GOG wants to get it right for you & your sweetheart, so there's no such thing as too many questions or too many details! I am so excited for you!
