Irina''s Original Sisley - how to contact for permission?

Hey everyone. I saw Irina''s original creation for the 4 prong wire wrap SIsley and it''s gorgeous. I just saw the Vatche Sisley and its wonderful also, but I absolutely love the original. DOes anyone know where I can get it, or is it permissible to have reproduced. I want to make sure Irina is okay with it. Can I ask Vatche?

Irina gave the design for the Sisley as well as for the Swan to Vatche.

I emailed Wink (Melissa) and they are checking. So from what I am reading, Winfields can design and make the same ring that Irina originally designed as the Sisley. Here''s the picture. Although I''ve seen the Vatche''s SIsley, I''m really drawn to the wire wrapping around the shank area that Irina originally designed. Was it a manufacturing reason that caused Vatche to change the design? I hope the pic comes up.

The difference seems to be the little ring on the shoulder of the band where it meets the head.

Whoa! Winfield''s will be happy to, and has in fact asked Vatche, and is waiting for a response, but Winfield''s WILL NOT make that ring. That would be a horrible breach of etiquette and a violation of the trust that both Irina and Vatche have placed in him.

If one of my staff has said that they were mistaken and I will make sure that this mistake is corrected.

This is a very touchy area for me as I admire and respect both Vatche and Irina very much and need to be sure that this is understood to be a "no go" area for me. To many people in my industry will copy anything, but this ring is one of the most original ring designs I have ever seen and I will not be making anything even remotely like it.

I just got off the phone with Vatche and they are happy to make the original model for anyone who wants it.

Just contact your local vendor and ask them to be sure to specify the original model. I think that is good news for many of you.

Wink, the local vendor contacted Vatche and said the original design is only available through you? Is there a particular person we should speak to?

Everyone. Update for you. It''s been informed by Vatche that Wink (Winfield) is the only authorized dealer that is allowed to request and order the Original design Sisley. Therefore, your local vendor will not be able to request this setting. Hence, my order is being placed and I''ll post pics when all is done.
