I''m super excited.... I designed these in Adobe Illustrator and had my invitations lady print them out on their thermographic printer, so the letters are raised. They''re just exquisite!

The only thing I didn''t do was the map, but yes, it''s all done in illustrator. The company I worked with sent two proofs out, but it wasn''t what I wanted. I need the invitations sent out this week, and the only thing I could think of was just do it myself and send them the file. It''s actually quite easy to do if you''re familiar the program. Luckily, they had done the map for me and it didn''t need any major changes.

beautiful!

Oh yeah that place is really nice!! We originally booked the Bella, but it was too small for us. I just glanced at the map and it looked right around where Bella is. I love the invitations!

Curio,

I absolutely LOVE your invitations and think they are perfect !!!! You did an AMAZING job !!!!

I am attempting to DIY my own and wonder if you could post some info regarding the design you used...

It''s exactly what I am looking for...

Any information or help you could provide would be super helpful..

Wedding is in October and I am a little frustrated !!!!!

Thanks so much...

Lovely!

Did you get that pattern from stockexpert?

I know that this is crazy, but the front of your invite says May 13th and your rsvp says by May 15th?

Wow - those came out great! You are really talented!

Do you know when the postal rate increases? I just had a look at the new stamps and they aren''t very wedding-y

Curio, was it hard to book a date there? I''m in Houston as well, not engaged yet (this summer) but I''m starting to get my feelers out there. Do they have inhouse catering?

PS I loved your invitations! So classy! That''s going to set a nice tone to the wedding with the guests.

It wasn''t that tough, but we really only had 6 months to plan this wedding. They have a calendar of availability on their website that tells you the dates that are already booked. They don''t have inhouse catering-- they have four preferred caterers that they work with. You can choose to find a caterer that''s different from the ones they prefer, but it''s an extra charge per guest. I think it was like 3.50 a person. We chose Cordua Catering becaseu of their reputation and awesome food! Cordua owns Churascos, Artista, America''s and Amazon Grille.
