Curio,

I absolutely LOVE your invitations and think they are perfect !!!! You did an AMAZING job !!!!

I am attempting to DIY my own and wonder if you could post some info regarding the design you used...

It''s exactly what I am looking for...

Any information or help you could provide would be super helpful..

Wedding is in October and I am a little frustrated !!!!!

Thanks so much...

I basically did it all from scratch in Adobe Illustrator. Took about 6-8 hours to make. I know Illustrator has a few templates you can work from, like a postcard template or invitation or brochure, but the dimensions of my paper were different, so those had to be entered in specifically.

I found a free vector file of the flourish/ornament (vectoreezy.com) , found some fonts that I really liked that worked together (dafont.com or abstractfonts.com) and just moved things around until I found a pleasing layout. I converted everything to a .pdf and that gets sent to printing.

I know that this is crazy, but the front of your invite says May 13th and your rsvp says by May 15th?

The invitation is for May Thirtieth. I know it looks like Thirteenth... I''ve had a bunch of people TELL me it says 13th, and I keep making them read it over.

LOL, at least I sent save the dates that say May 30th, 2008 and not May Thirtieth.

Where did you get your envelopes from?

Where did you put the main envelope (the one with the main invite and then the holder for the RSVP card and map) in the mix?

Nevermind...I looked at it more carefully. Very, very nice! About how much did it cost you per invite, if you don''t mind my asking?

You are an extreme help...I love this look!

I know that Envelopments.com and Marsupialpapers.com sells paper almost identiacal to each other. I think my invitations were a mix of both.

ETA: Oh, since you're in Houston-- The lady I did my invitations with was Vivian from TheEventHouse.net Their prices are extremely reasonable.

Thanks!

these are exquisite!!! :-)
