#JOTW Introducing my new cushion with traps

Hi all,

This forum has been so helpful for me as I shopped for my upgrade, so I wanted to share what I ended up with.

Here's my new 2.7 4-main modern cushion, an H VS1, with step-cut trap sidestones totaling .40. It's quite a change from my old 1.1 ct round, and I'm still getting used to it! Ring size is 3.75.

I'm also still working on getting great hand shots, which is shockingly hard! The profile is gorgeous, which I need to figure out how best to capture.

Yes, definitely! Having it flush fit compatible was really important to me. Here it is with my 10-year-old Simon G band. It's okay but not perfect--the Simon G is 2mm, rather than 1.8 like the new ring, and the pave isn't nearly as fine. Not sure I can talk my husband into a new eternity band *quite* yet...
