Offer in hand! (well, recruiter's hand) DH goes in to sign Monday morning.

This is a 12 month contract for a mega software company. The manager said he only brings in contractors he would like on his team and often hires permanent at the end. (we will hope for this, but prepare for just in case by saving and networking)

Thank you all for the congratulations and for being here through some very difficult times.

He signed this morning and has an expected start date of July 7.

Looking forward to being able to relax a bit and start getting life closer to normal again. DH is looking forward to his first paycheck and a big steak. (I may surprise him a bit early with the steak at least)
