I never knew the diamonds could reflect light this way.

Oh yes, they do! Wait til you''re driving and the sun catches your hand on the wheel. Lil rainbows everywhere.

The first time it happened with my earring studs, I scared myself. lol I knelt down to get something out of the cabinet, and got a light show on the door. It really startled me for a second!

This is how I first discovered it, too!

It''s rather distracting in the car - I can''t tell you how many times I have found myself staring at my ring sparklies instead of the road!

I love seeing the random mini- rainbows that come off of my ring! That picture taken in the jeep is really cool!

Great shot musey!

This just happened to me the other day when I was on a plane. Hundreds of little rainbows on the side of the airplane during the flight. It was awesome!

I have heard from several on this board that planes are one of THE best places to see a diamond. I''ve yet to experience that, but you''re making me want to book a flight!

Yup!
Last week on my flight back from Florida, I was flashin'' all over the place! I was sooo proud at how far and wide my little bling could throw rays!

Do all diamonds have the ability to reflect the light? Or only well cut diamonds? I guess I am curious because my center stone is not certified by anything. Just trying to have some piece of mind that I didn''t make the wrong decision because I did not know how important the cut was until after I found pricescope.

No, they have to be somewhat well cut to do this. You''ve seen those pictures of "frozen spit" diamonds, they''re not going to.

I looked back through your posts as I didn''t remember your ring, but I did once I saw it. Very pretty! and I see arrows peeking out in that one shot. Enjoy your ring, you don''t have a dud.
