Insurance coverage question..

If I have a policy for an engagement ring (covered under my homeowner's policy), would it still cover the ring after its given to the GF/fiancee? Or would she have to take out another under her name?

Generally, if she lives in another residence she will need to obtain her own coverage. If she lives with you, then your policy will work. You might find Jeweler''s Mutual will sell coverage on the item itself and not on where the wear resides. Check on this first, please.
