I would appreciate your input on the following selections.

I purchased this diamond, but I have time to switch if the other two are better choices. Setting is a platinum solitaire.

Here's the one I purchased:

Here are the other two I considered

Thanks for your input!

Hi,

Your stone seems very beautiful. It would be useful to know what made you choose that particular stone over the other two. They are quite a variety of specifications, particularly in colour (G - I). If you are colour sensitive, a G, VS2 is great for the wallet, getting better colour with just below the colourless range. There is a coloured inclusion under the table, and I hope you confirmed with their gemologist that this is an eyeclean stone. This may be visible from some angles on close inspectio..

Your stone does have slightly less spread than the 1.17H, which appears to have slightly more spread with a shallower depth and crown angle, than your purchased stone with is a deeper one with a higher crown angle which technically should have more fire. Both are within ideal range.

The AGS000 is my least favourite from the video, but it was possibly not as well aligned. The 0 performance is superior to the other twos excellent grade with regards to guaranteeing ideal light performance. In GIA report, although your numbers are spot on, these are rounded figures and the actual light performance is not measured (unless you have an idealscope/ASET to go with it).

Saying that if the AGS000 is in the same price bracket, I personally would favour the (hopefully) eyeclean G,VS2 over the I, VS1.

I spoke with two of their gemologist regarding the inclusion and they both stated that the stone would be eye clean. I chose the G for its better color and the proportions seemed within range, which the gemologist confirmed as well. The price fell right in the middle of the other two. My primary search was for a G / H color, but I threw the "I" in as a slightly less expensive option.

Thanks for your input.
