Thanks Ibrakeforpossums. I did really need one. I am thrilled it turned out okay. I am sure there are other more beautiful emerald cuts, but...this is mine, It sparkles well and I am happy.

Do you mind me asking, since you have had both an emerald and scissor cut, how do they compare? I’ve always admired those scissor cuts, but I do love the “peacefulness” of an EC.

@YadaYadaYada you are welcome to ask me questions!
The scissor cut has small splintery flashes and moves quickly. It is also a quiet cut (like an emerald). Not a huge amount of difference, to be honest. I wanted an emerald to try out the orderly flashes instead of the scissor cut. I would happily own a scissor cut again, but if I did, would probably go for a large one. I have several bad quality videos on my Youtube (just click my name to suffer through a few). LOL< I have some sort of unhealthy OCD infatuation with e-rings.
