IDJ is mentioned often in other forums, but Yekutiel is also in possession of fabulous lab diamonds at a very reasonable price - I just found my dream stone! He helped me select a fantastic blingy setting and I am looking forward to showing it here soon. I just wanted to give IDJ a plug.

Did he or does he provide aset images?

He did not, but I did not ask.
He had the stone in hand and said it was pretty.

Don't make me give back my PS card now LOL

The angles should be okay.

How exciting! It's going to be a beautiful ring!

Kim, you are so kind to help folks like you do. You are so appreciated! I hope it is as pretty as I hope it will be. The stone spoke to me. Also, as Yekutiel had it handpicked for his inventory, I felt comfortable buying it.

If I understood correctly, I will have it in hand on Tuesday.

That’s so pretty

Hello Kyton, thank you!

Stunning! I love step cuts. Can't wait to see it once it's in that gorgeous setting. Congratulations!

Ooohhhh. Love it!!! Congratulations!!

Ah, here we go, first of all, I love the setting, can’t wait to see it all together. The diamond is a nice size and so white! I bet you are excited for Tuesday, of course it seems like forever when you’re waiting.

That looks really lively! His prices are good from the quick look I did. I didn't compare to Ritani but they do look pretty good.

I have been bargain shopping :D. Between Ritani and IDJ, his stones hold their own in pricing. I have enjoyed the quality of every Ritani ring I have had, but have been underwhelmed by customer service (timeliness of response). There must be a Venn diagram in here somewhere. Great pricing is great, but customer service slips. Like many on here, it is annoying to see a stone for sale at three vendors with a 1,500 difference in pricing. I want to patronize smaller shops, but I cannot afford that mark-up.

Buying a diamond goes something like this... :)
Pretend "fast" = "excellent, quick service"

I wanted everyone to know there is another option out there if they are shopping. Note IDJ is closed Friday afternoon though Sunday.

This is going to register as a year or more in dog days. I'll get over it :D.
NY is only 5 hours away, so it will get to me soon.

It was so close, between mined and lab. In the end, I went this way, but hope I don't kick myself in the buttocks. I still adore your step cut :D

I am such a goof, I forgot to say thanks :)

WOW @MMtwo, This stone and setting looks gorgeous! I can’t wait to see it on your finger.

I also LOVE the ring in your new avatar. Is there a thread on this ring?

Wow it looks gorgeous!

@Calliecake thank you! I have a little about the sapphire. Here are the vendor/real life photos.

Here is my noobie thread. There are so many smart collectors on PS, I learned so much in the process.

I am enjoying it as a RHR. the Etsy shop is Siamese Jewelry. He has a GIA alexandrite in there now, and a lovely pink star sapphire.

What a beautiful diamond and setting. Your ring is going to be gorgeous!

Why kick yourself? It’s a beautiful diamond lab or not. Also it’s nice to have a bigger size in an emerald cut since they face up smaller.

Oh, the old "mind clean" stuff. I am sure I will enjoy this ring though! I tried to budget a little over 1ct mined and just could not squeak it out now.

I get it. Actually if I didn’t have a mind clean issue, it would be CZ all day for me. Just get a new one when it gets too beat up. I did rock my CZ emerald ring to the casino today in fact lol!

That is so funny, I just received the Berricle 3 stone- Great little ring. Not mind clean. I tried to not buy this lab. My obsession with completing the collection, I "needed" a step cut :D.

Good travel ring though!

For the record, this is why I disappear now and again. Jewelry addiction. I always come back.

She is here! She is firey, which I did not expect! IDJ did great!

That's a really lively and bright stone! It looks really nice on you too. Are you happy with the setting? It looks nicely done.

Thanks @elizat
The setting is very petite and fine, but seems well-made. It is a 1.8mm with .40 ct.
The only band I have that is as petite is this tiny ruby band I just added. I may have to buy another band...darn it to heck :D

Love it on you!!!

I love it! I need a step cut too but I need to wait, I bought so many things in a short period of time, LOL

I LOVE the ruby band with it actually!!!

I sold my scissor cut and immediately went into Poke-mon mode - got to catch the next shape.

Thanks, that super thin ruby band gives me hope, so far has held up pretty well. I did just order another micro-pave eternity to match better.
