Malaya is very moody. Any change of lighting will make it shit color.

Hehe...I think you meant ''shift''? Although that''s an interesting way to say it..

ROTF!! That was an honest, but funny typo! YINGH, the rings are gorgeous! Those LOGR settings really come to life when you have such gorgeous stones placed in them!!!

Brilliant typo! I''ve been laughing out loud here!!!

Gorgeous, gorgeous rings Yingh. I love the tourmaline and the shifty Malaya (I resisted the urge to do a typo!) and they look great in the LOGR settings.

Thanks for sharing all those great colored stone photos! I love the new tourmaline ring and the malaya is beautiful too. Love the setting on that one. I can''t wait to see what you do with the new spinel and the tourmaline from Finewater gems.

My hubby did his nightly ritual, which was to spray water mist to his orchid (his ONLY one)
21.gif
and didn''t notice a thing!

Now for my dear hubby, who wisely looked away when I spent hours on PS or cutter sites, and who pretended not to notice the never-ending postman deliveries, here is his orchid.

Now the second ring with a Malaya garnet from Gene. (hubby didn''t know I hang the rings on his flower buds - he counts the flowers every night.

)

I know exactly how your hubby feels. I use to have over 150 orchids and I knew every bud and flowers on each of my plants...
31.gif

If he kne you were handing the rings from the buds, he would not be too happy...hehehe

Wow wow wow! Where do I begin ..

Ok ..
1) LOVE that kitten - she is sooooo cute.
2) You are a wonderful photographer. Really enjoyed the photo.
3) Loved the rings and gemstones!

That last setting looks really well made. I want to go pick one up too .. is that an LOGR? Looks really good.

I love that neon pink spinel and the green tourmaline is awesome too!

OHH that kitty, ducky pic is too cute! Not sure what I think about the frog!

LOL! I lov.e the last pic of your ring collection. What gorgeous gemmies! I have a good feeling that there is more to come or more to be added to your beautiful collection. Tell the DH the orchid is beautiful. From what I understand, they are not so easy to take care of although hanging a few of your rings on them might help them to nuture and grow!! LOL!

Thanks! CharmyPoo, I''ve always loved your kitty avatar.

Which ring are you wondering about? The first two (green tourm and the Malaya) are from LOGR. The alexandrite ring was from NY diamond district, a store with high quality and fair pricing. I can pass the store info if you are interested.

your malaya ring! What a beautiful shade of pink! You have a gorgeous collection! Your pictures are awesome, as well.

Now, is it me or does it look like your tourmaline and malaya need to get a room?

Thanks for your remarks!

I think the malaya and the green tourm will produce an alexandrite baby - color change from green to pink, perfecto!

(I will lock the two in a box for a few days to see what I can get out of them)

Oh wow. And looks like they did a great job too! Do you mind sharing the name of the place? I have a ring with a CZ I would love to switch out with my garnet but haven''t found a good place that''ll set my stone in my own setting. Most of them won''t give me the time of the day once they realize I''m not buying something expensive from them
