In need of your advice!!!!!!!

Sorry,
.77 also may fall into ES due to fluor.

Re setting, yes those small details add up.
Many would suggest putting most of your budget towards the diamond itself and get the simplest setting with the remainder.
I personally think that the setting is equally important.
Are you set on the type of metal you want to use?
If not, try asking for the 14k white gold options (though for some models it may be considered a custom setting and thus not returnable).

I told Becca (the sales rep) that I wanted to proceed with the .78 ACA diamond this afternoon. 15 minutes after we got off the phone I saw this diamond and asked her to check it out for me.

She said the light performance was equal and she could not distinguish a difference in the color. For 800 less, I could not say no!
I ended up going with the less expensive setting because the price difference was significant and also because they could not make that setting before I left for vacation.

Platinum setting by the way.

Ah, you're in good hands, she's fabulous!
Congrats on finding your diamond!
All the best with your proposal.
Let us know how it goes.

Very nice! Congratulations!
