I was shocked to see this stone throw off so much red, as I thought it would be more on the orange side. It has a slight color shift quality that makes it interesting.

Yes, in the sun, it does look like a ball of fire! In darker conditions, it is not as lively, but I do not live in a cave either.

Thanks! I was thinking cherry myself, however, I thought I was crazy because the stone is supposed to be red-orange. Yes, more pictures to come! I will more than likely start a new thread with pictures taken from my fabulous new camera...I love that thing!
