i''ve had this growing intrest in rubies and emeralds, so i was wondering if anyone had any ruby or emerald rings they could post so i could oooo and ahhhh. and if you don''t then just put anything up that has red or green mostly red that''s my fav color

Come on over to the "Colored Stones" forum where you will find some people who (I know this is heresy!) actually prefer colored gemstones to diamonds! (Red is *my* personal favorite color, but I also have some small-and not terribly valuable-emeralds from Colombia that have great sentimental value for me.)

The thread is entitled, "Spinel", but, as you may know, red spinels were mistaken for rubies for many years and some famous "rubies" are actually red spinels.
