This is gorgeous. I know you don''t know the carat weight, but I am guessing it is over 2 carats b/c it is an EC which are deeper cuts. For an Asscher or EC to appear to be 1.5, they usually have to be much more than that in reality to compensate for the depth of the cut. I would suggest finding out b/c it will affect your insurance. You definitely want to insure that gorgeous ring!
Ok...last posting on my ring....I feel a little weird b/c I posted so many times on it so last one.
For those of you that were curious on the carat size, it''s 1.6 carats, ex/ex G/VS1. finally saw the GIA.
There isn''t much to the setting, except it''s platinum. Also it''s about 2mm. Very thin, the way I like it.
Here are some more pix for you EC lovers out there. I actually can''t stop taking pictures of my ring. My new obsession.
FYI, I had to take some of the "fun" ones down (with the toys) due to a request. Hopefully these are a good replacement.
