I have a half-Siamese, half-Tabby, half-some other breed that showed up on my doorstep exactly like this, flea collar and all! He even looks a LOT like her.

If you were in Dallas, I''d pick her up today!

So they got owner info off the chip? Have they tried to contact the owner? I hope to God she got out somehow and they are frantically looking for her. I''m glad she''s chipped..it meant somebody cared at some point...I hope that''s still the case. These pictures are tearing me up!

Do you think she''d get along with a friendly, neutered boy cat? My mom has been looking for a 2nd kitty...

Of the numbers provided to us by the chip company 2 were disconnected, and one went to a place with no VM or answering machine. I'm not hopeful. We'll keep calling though. The Siamese rescue might have a place for her, MAYBE. They won't know for a week. So for the time being:

She's being boarded at the vet for the time being. I can't stand to have her outside, clawing to get in with that sad look on her face. We can visit anytime. And we will be visiting her. OH... I forgot to say: She's FIV/FELV negative!!!



Amber: Regarding her personality. When my Hally (my female) hisses and attacks her through the screen, she just walks away. Doesn't hiss back or show aggression. When my males are at the screen she goes nose to nose with them sniffing, then walk away in disinterest. I have not seen any behaviour that would make me think she would be aggressive to a male sibling. In fact I think she likes the company of other cats. She and Frodo had a bit of a thing going.

Will you forward to your mom and see if she's interested? I think that would be ideal for her.

And I could get updates.

She does have a weird tatoo on her belly that showed up when she was shaved. Vet thinks it could be from a breeder. It's like a serial code or something.

I'm so relieved she's indoors, even if it is in a cage.

Aww...I hope Amber''s mom can take her. She sounds like the perfect kitty!

And the tattoo on her belly could be a sign that she''s been fixed. My baby has one, but her stripey fur covers it. I do have a friend with a solid white kitty and his tattoo is a smiley face lol. He gets annoyed when you touch it.

Yes, I''m SO happy that AG and her mom are coming out. I am very excited she might be getting her forever home, and grateful for AG and her mom''s kind loving hearts. Will update tomorrow, or AG will I''m sure.

OMG!!! That would be incredible if your Mom would take her Amber!!!! I will be sending thoughts and prayers as hard as I can!

Oh, dust! Dust! She definitely needs someone to love.

I know how you feel, Gypsy - I have 3 cats, one of whom is separated because of aggression issues. And there''s always somebody who desperately needs a home, and I SO can''t help them. At least I don''t have them visiting me - I''m on the third floor.
