My Leon Mege has arrived and I could not be happier. While it sparkles like crazy in the sunlight it is even more beautiful in shade and low light. It seems to be lit from within. I can't stop looking at it.

My experience with Leon from choosing the diamond (thanks Perry), to communication with Rachel was perfect from start to finish. He was a gentleman and fun to work with. I'd work with him again in a heartbeat so I'd better start saving some $$ for my next project with him.

Another week has gone by. They've been working on setting accent stones, engraving, finishing, etc. on the ering and making the band to go with it. Here's a rough pic though it is not truly PS-worthy

As for me I'm doing a reset of an eternity band with Jbeg. I have some credit with them so that is the only way I got green lighted to move forward with it. Below are my inspiration bands

The eternity will heavily resemble the first ring but instead of the connection points tapering they will sit back to back with each other like the PSer's ring (2nd pic).

TwoLittleBirds, that is a fabulous design, I LOVE marquis bands ... Pixiegirl, tat is just stunning, and I am going to stalk your threads in the nicest way possible ... Bright Ice, I'm sure you're not surprised that I am waiting for yours with bated breath ... and, Backwards, we have similar tastes so I'm sure this will come as no surprise, but that is THE PRETTIEST bezel design! I cannot WAIT to see this! (I have been compulsively checking this thread each time you've posted, recently: I am being literal when I say I can't wait!)

Meg, having just been in your shoes ... ugh, I'm so sorry. If they screwed up, they should put yours at the front of the line for remaking! What did they do wrong?

Thanks for all your help RB!!!! I have been trying to figure this one out for almsot 2 years and then WHAM I saw the first picture and thought "Hey that could work for me! I would actually wear that!" I actually felt really bad because I put the ring up on LT and got a few emails about it right away and responded- then that night I saw my inspiration and immediatley pulled it off It was meant to be!

That makes me nervous. I'm getting a 3-stone version of a setting that is a full channel set. Since I can't envision what the end result will be, I'm trusting the bench. I'm on pins and needles.

I would talk to the sales rep again, but I honestly felt like she was avoiding me last week when I wanted to talk to her about the design. I know we're only spending 7K, but that's still not chump change.
