You can't put two shared prong bands next to each other or the diamonds will damage each other. So it is wise to wear a plain thin band in between them to keep them from touching. I have a plain 1.5mm platinum band that I wear when I want to wear something between my e-ring and band. It's just another ring, so it is not uncomfortable. I sort of like the look of 3 bands, but you just need to try some on to see how you like it best. Of course, if you chose a wedding band with metal on the sides, this might not be an issue, but most people who have shared prong e-rings here also have matching wedding bands because it just looks best usually.300GCP|1305813399|2925631 said:Ooo, I didn't even contemplate the issue with a spacer. Is the spacer uncomfortable? My engagement ring is shared prong so I do think it will be a problem.
I'm kind of interested in the idea of an eternity band with stones of a different shape. It sounds nice. I am definitely interested in something with more diamonds (surprise, surprise) as opposed to something plain!
