Ideas for a sliding halo pendant

Hi All!

I recently purchased a beautiful 7.8 mm round blue zircon from Barry. I STILL haven't set anything and I am determined to do so, starting with this one!!! I have looked into custom pieces, but I think I need to stick to a stock piece-- a setting for an 8 mm will work right? Has anyone seen one they would recommend?

Have you seen Daniel M's sliding halo? It would be semi-custom, but I would assume they already have the cast for an 8mm stone:

Have you contacted IDJewelry? A lot of ladies have had them make earring halos, but I don't think a slider pendant would be much harder than that.

They set my Jerry Newman tourmaline last year, and they're on 47th in NYC. Here's their website, just mention you're from PS:

Oh, that's too bad. Their prices are much more reasonable when they already have the cast made.

Rats! I was considering that one for MY 7.8mm pink zircon! I'll be following your thread, please let me know what you find!
