#JOTW i traded my PT Lange 1 MP watch for...

a RG Lange 1 MP.

i met up with a gentleman in S.F. last Thursday and we traded watches.he wanted a PT watch and i have always had my heart set on the RG model. we agreed to exchange watches + $4100 for my PT watch, plus his watch came with two buckles, a regular tang + an upgraded deployant buckle which alone retails for $2400 .. both of our watches are in like new condition and we both got what we wanted... i think i got the better end of the deal..

i was waiting for this kind of deal but didn't think it would happen so quickly. the guy PM me on TZ and asked if i wanted to trade my PT for his RG + $$$... he's a doctor from Seattle and was in S.F. for a convention so it was only a 1.5 hr drive for me.

The rose gold seems to go great with your skin tone. Plus, I love the elegance of a well-crafted deployment clasp! My entry level ( ) Raymond Weil has a nice deployment clasp, and every time I snap that thing into place, I want to smile just a little!

the watch have 54 jewels.my avatar w/o the MP function have 53.

btw; most people say "deployment" but the correct word is "deployant".

he bought my watch for 15K then he sold it to another guy in San Diego who then had it polish and replaced the old strap with a new strap, now this guy is asking $21,250 for the watch,but i don't know if he sold the watch yet.

i would of done the trade + $4K cash even w/o the deployant buckle... the deployant was a big bonus,plus he also included the original 18K RG tang buckle with a black leather strap...
