Great photos everyone. I like how they''re so diverse.

Robbie, that first one is GREAT! It''s so sharp and clear!

I love seeing everyones shots, this is so fun for me.

Great idea to start this thread, Monkeypie! I love looking at photos and seeing the different styles everyone has. I really like your shot of the models. Looks like that would be fun and challenging working with models.

Great shots everyone! I really like vip0802''s baking shot. Very cool how you can see the granules and love the pop of color. And very pretty fall foliage shot, misskitty!

Here's a photo DH took in Yellowstone. This is the pic I chose for the cover of the Blurb book I'm creating for his photos.

Focusing on the Sweet Potato and Sourdough Stuffing with Bacon and Thyme . . . lost the light on this one, but we were so hungry, we only fired off 10 shots and this was the best of the bunch.

Last one - my cat, Takumi. He''s a Lynx Point mix of some sort . . . W thinks he''s part Egyptian Mau because of his spots and skin flap under his belly. All I know is he''s cross-eyed and adorable, and incredibly loving.

holymoly, that''s a beautiful cat

All these photo''s are great .. I''m at work so I''ll try to find something when I''m home to post

This is a pic I took in New Mexico.
It is a radio astronomy antenna field.

When I pulled up it was about an hour from sunset and and the sun was behind clouds but there think break in the clouds right at the horizon.
I pulled over and waited for the sun to reach the opening in the clouds, hoping the opening would not go away.
A 200 mm lens on a tripod compressed space and stacked up the layers of colors.
I backed up the car to position myself so we could see into the reflectors a bit.

The moody exposure captures the surreal feeling the scene had.
I was imagining the antennae picking up signals from aliens as I was standing there.

Here is a link explaining the facility. link

Ok I might post a second one because I''m having a hard time choosing just one.

This first one is a picture of my brother up at the dunes by my family''s place in Michigan. Isn''t it fabulous. The tops of those dunes just might be my favorite place in the world.

Sleeping Bear? I love northern MI!!! We have a place up north too, but not quite that far!

All your pics put mine to shame but here is my favorite pic of my favorite subject:
