GREAT THREAD! I, too, LOVE the diversity of all the different photos!
This is a picture of Kinkakuji (the Golden Pavilion) in Kyoto, Japan; taken by me when DH and I were there several years ago.
I love how the temple and the trees are perfectly reflected in the still water.
I can actually feel the weather and hear the sounds in this photo.Date: 11/12/2009 9:36:08 PM

Oh my goodness, Vip0802!!!! Gorgeous, gorgeous pics!!! I''ve been looking into those Ego lamps, but haven''t pulled the trigger yet. I get massive hot spots with little spots I use now, so a set of those could help tame it.
Do you submit to foodbuzz or tastespotting or anything?

This is perched on a precipice on the other side of the mountain....
Yes, it was! I''m not sure how anyone would ever get to it in winter(I took the photo zoomed hard in at 7000 ft, so I''m guessing it was at LEAST 5000 ft above sea level), but I believe during summer people hike around there so maybe it''s accessible then?Date: 11/17/2009 9:26:10 AM

Everyone''s photos are great!!
I have to play, because we just bought a Nikon D90 and it came in the mail today. The sun was down, hubby didn''t want to play model for me, so I got creative with a few of my favorite things.
