I took a ton of pictures in Rarotonga on my honeymoon but these two really represent some of the things I will remember the most about Raro.

First- a macro shot of a coral beach we were on. I intend to print this out in an 11x14 to frame and hang in our guest room that has a relaxed and organic feel to the decor. I hijacked these pictures from facebook but you get the idea...

We spent an immense amount of time "scootering" around the island. Most of the people who live there have scooters. It took me so many attempts to finally capture this. Not the best composition but I like how my ponytail is trailing in the breeze.

One more Rarotonga shot- this was the beach that we went to daily. I enjoy the sharpness of the colors and the shadows of the palm trees on the beach. It was SO windy so I am surprised this shot came out as crisp as it did because the trees were constantly moving.

lemon cupcakes with a lemon cream cheese frosting underneath the fondant
Well now you did it! These photos have made me soooo hungry I went and made lemon poppyseed muffins with lemon glaze. I''d post a picture but we ate them all!

Dug up a few more interesting ones (though, I realize they might be much more interesting to me).

This is my hometown from the air on a Southwest flight from Providence back to Philadelphia first thing in the morning. I love how easy it is to navigate RI by air because of the islands and distinctive features in the state''s geography.

Newport, RI is on the bottom of the picture.

You know your state is small when you can capture almost the entire thing from an airplane window (and not at a terribly high altitude!)

DH saw me looking through this thread and asked if I could post a couple of his.

Piazza Navona, Rome, Italy. They were having some kind of celebration with all these guys playing kettle drums and stuff. A lot of fun, but I still don''t know what was going on!

Last one, Miami, FL. Funny story: so you know how setting a digital camera to night mode slows your shutter speed, so you have to rest the camera on something in order for it not to be blurry? This is what happens when the camera''s resting on your head, and you trip while taking the picture. I''m an idiot.

That''s such a beautiful pic! I went to the Cook Islands many years ago, and it was so beautiful. Wasn''t it an amazing place?
