At first glance, can you tell that this is a mosaic? Or do they look like emerald cuts? It is a mosaic of baguettes meant to look like emerald cuts. I’m getting strange comments on it. People are asking how I was able to afford it. I’m scratching my head a little. It only goes halfway around. Perhaps people don’t realize they are not full ec

At this distance it’s pretty evident that it’s mosaic, but it’s likely not so clear at first glance. Most people don’t stare at jewelry when you’re wearing it, just glance it over. So people who casually see your bracelet might think they are emerald cuts.

This. It’s clearly mosaic to me, but it might not be at a glance to somebody else who isn’t familiar with jewellery settings.

Close up, it’s apparent they are mosaic set, but from afar I can see how they would look like large stones. When someone asks, or implies, how can you afford it, just thank them and say, “I know, isn’t it beautiful? I love it!” That’s all, you owe no one anything!!
