These probably look quite similar. I can't make a choice by the numbers when diamonds are so close in style of cut. One might look nicer, but I just can't predict it. The price differential is nominal. Again, not enough to amke a choice based upon.
Sorry, but you have found what looks pretty good on both diamonds.
Glad to see you're seeing things my way, moremoremore!
It looks to me as though the pictures are just a little blury, and that the "F" photo was taken at more of an angle (note the shadow). And as for the "dark" spots, I think it will help the scintillation. While the crown angle of the "G" stone is a bit higher and might have a little better fire, they're so close I don't think it will make much difference. Finally, I just think the "F" stone will be more brilliant, as it looks to my non-expert eye that there is more leakage in the "G" stone. That being said, I think they're both beautiful!
The G definitely has more leakage...and F seems to have more contrast = greater scintillation...but I dunno...I'm CRAZY! Dark areas turn me off...I'd rather have less scintillation and less dark...BUT, that said, photos play a big role here. It's probably all b/c of the photos and like Dave said, they probably look so similar in person...They both look awesome! I'd probably go with the F !
Yeah, there definitely are +'s and -'s of both stones. But, the fact that the vendor has both stones in person and says the "F" is better sways me even more in that direction.
