I am looking to buy my girlfriend a 1.5 carat cushion cut diamond with a depth ratio around 1.05. Can anyone tell me what needs to be the depth and table percentages to get the most fire? I am looking for a premium cut, D, E, or F color and very good polish and symmetry. I have had the most luck on Adiamor and Mondera but please let me know if you have any other thoughts. Thank you so much for any assistance you can provide, I am a rookie at this but trying to buy the most beautiful diamong possible and there just doesnt seem to be much info on the web for Cushion Cut diamonds.

Thank you,

Mike

There isn''t much info because really they need to be seen to be purchased, you can''t buy a cushion by the numbers. Mark at Engagement Rings Direct is known as the cushion king around here, he really has a great eye for them. I would give him a call and see what he can find you. You can''t really buy a cushion on a drop shipper website that provides no pictures.

Ditto every word Neat. First point of call would be Mark for a cushion.

Good luck with your search!

True, at least with pics, if not in person. And I will add to neat's advice/suggestion, that Goodoldgold is another place to look.

Also, I think you can easily lower the color to G without seeing any warmth, and many great cushions also only have Good Polish and/or Symmetry (these aren't near as important as they are with rounds). All this will help open up choices, and lower costs.

Thank you for the help. I have never heard of engagementringsdirect.com so I will be sure to contact them regarding my purchase
