I am looking at estate jewlery - something Edwardian or Georgian. The problem is that most of the rings I find are around a size 6.5-7 and my ring size is between a 3.5 or 4. I'm afraid that if I have the ring resized that it will compromise the setting and it is hard to know exactly what the ring will look like since it is so big on my finger.
Does anyone have any advice on what type of ring is best for resizing?
Do you think estate rings are too delicate to be compromised that much?
