I have a single princess cut solitaire. It is in a Platinum Cathedral style setting. There are no diamonds except for the main stone. I am confused on what type of wedding band will look good with this. I am leaning toward the eternity bands. I like the extra diamonds that the band would add but I don''t know if it would look wierd since the engagement band does not have any diamonds. I don''t want it to look like it doesn''t match. I also don''t want there to be any gaps. Please post any pictures you have along with your advice. I would really appreciate any feedback.

I agree with Belle, I think the solitaire e-ring and eternity wedding band combination is just gorgeous.

I also say go for it!

Thank you guys for the advice. Are you sure it wouldn''t look funny since the e-ring just has a plain band? What are your suggestions about the shape of the diamonds in the eternity band? Also, do you think the Cathedral style setting will cause a gap between the two bands?

most solitaires that are paired with eternity bands don''t have diamonds in them. you can go any shape in the band but if you want to be matchy, get princess cuts. there may be a small gap depending on the exact height of your ring and of the eternity band but it won''t be much. you can also use a ''spacer'' band between them.

Thank you! I appreciate any advice you can give. You made me feel better when you said most e-rings don''t have the diamonds. I just don''t know what looks right and what doesn''t. I just got engaged last week and I am worried about finding something that looks good. So I appreciate all the advice from you "Experts"

. Thanks again!

Also, one more questions...do you think it is better to get the eternity band with the diamonds going all the way around or just the bands where the diamonds cover the top half of the band?
