What strikes me as odd are the people who will repost The Onion to FB or elsewhere, as though it was a valid news source. I have to wonder . . . do they really not get satire? Never heard of parody? Do they, themselves, have no wit?

This is really funny. The colorful language was almost too much for me, though! And I love a good cussing! Overall, the usual hilarious stuff from The Onion.

HollyS, I agree, it's so strange when people don't realize it's satire. But, I, too, have been guilty (only once that I recall ) of sharing an article before checking the source. I give people a pass the first time they do it. They are usually somewhat lambasted in the comments, so in my experience they either learn from it or do it again and that's when I use the good old (new?) "unsubscribe" button.
