I kind of did a weird thing

I had this setting and couldn't find a stone to fit and a wonderful old cut that I didn't really wear because the setting was uncomfortable. So I decided to combine them and let the original head of the diamond as is, because it looks like a crown. It's super high but I'm usually good with my things and it's not my everyday setting. It looks like a crown. The diamond is very white and clear and a total fireball.
I might lower it later if I get bored with it like this.

I think it looks good. Yes, it's high, so you need to be careful. Lots of prongs though and a nice size bottom, so shouldn't get knocked off. I'd probably lower it, if it were mine, but that's because I like my stones set low. But if the height is okay with you, then I think you did a great job marrying the two pieces.
